The PUROMELT® of AFIMO cartridges are manufactured by melt blown technology (thermo-blown) with AFIMO's process, they are 100% polypropylene. In many conditions, they provide no release of saturation fibers or particles of size up their filtration efficiency. Throughout the thickness of the media is a true depth filtration, ensuring a wide holding capacity and a long life in comparison with the wound or spun-bonded cartridges.
